Luigi Mangione is headed toward legal battles for his alleged role in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. Apart from that, the battle is with Trump-appointed Attorney General Pam Bondi, who wants to give Manione the death penalty.
According to TMZ, if Mangione is convicted of the stalking and murder of Thompson, the death penalty could be administered by lethal injection.
University of Richmond Law Professor Corinna Lain stated the process would place Mangione in a death chamber before he is injected with a fluid that would possibly induce pain, cause difficulty breathing, and have a death range between seconds and minutes.
