Lauren Pisciotta, the woman who has accused Kanye West of sexual assault, is reportedly in hiding due to escalating safety concerns. According to her attorney, Arick Fudali of The Bloom Firm, Pisciotta has faced intense online harassment and fears for her personal safety.
“Lauren, as I’ve said in public before, is basically in hiding,” Fudali told Complex. “She is very afraid of Mr. West, his inner circle, and his supporters. She’s received an overwhelming amount of online backlash—cruel, disturbing, and hateful messages. It’s gotten so serious that I can’t even disclose her general location.”
The allegations stem from an incident Pisciotta claims occurred after she attended a music studio session where West was present. According to Rolling Stone, the session was arranged by Diddy, who allegedly told attendees that drinking was mandatory to remain in the studio. Pisciotta claims that West directed a studio assistant to pour her a beverage, which he then handed to her himself.
She alleges that after taking only a few small sips, she became disoriented and later lost consciousness. When she awoke the following morning, she had no memory of what had occurred the night before but recalls feeling “immense shame and embarrassment.”
Years later, Pisciotta says West referenced the incident in a conversation, implying they had been intimate. When she expressed that she had no recollection of that night, West allegedly laughed and said, “Women love to say they don’t remember.”
The lawsuit also includes disturbing claims about West’s sexual preferences, including a supposed fixation on the mothers of women he is involved with. One example cited in the complaint involves a text West allegedly sent to his wife, Bianca Censori, stating, “I wanna fuck your mum. Before she leaves.”
While Diddy is named in the context of the studio event, he is not listed as a co-defendant and has not been accused of any misconduct by Pisciotta.
Since filing the lawsuit, Pisciotta has reportedly endured a wave of hateful online commentary, further contributing to her decision to stay out of the public eye.
