Almost Friday Media and Fanatics Sportsbook team up to launch season two of “Glory Daze,” a weekly podcast hosted by Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel. The show, known for its unfiltered look at sports nostalgia, returns with new interviews and a deeper partnership with Fanatics Sportsbook.
“Glory Daze” features Manziel in conversation with iconic athletes, uncovering untold stories and revisiting pivotal moments in their careers. The first episode of the new season features Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby and premieres June 12 across all podcast platforms.
Following a successful first season that featured guests such as Michael Vick, Matt Leinart, and Vince Young, Season Two expands the format with weekly content integrations from Fanatics Sportsbook. Manziel will take on the persona of “Johnny FanCash” during live ad reads, sharing exclusive giveaways and weekly betting picks through the Fanatics Sportsbook app.
“This season we talk to athletes still in the glory daze, former athletes, and even notable fans,” said Manziel. “Having been through some unforgettable moments myself, I know how important it is to share the real stories behind what fans saw on the field. We’ve lined up some amazing guests who have those same experiences – career-defining moments that fans still talk about today. This season is all about going deeper into those stories and connecting with the fans who remember these glory days just as vividly as we do. It’s about celebrating the moments that shaped the sports we love.”
A live taping of “Glory Daze” is also set for Fanatics Fest NYC, taking place June 20–22 at the Javits Center. New episodes release every Thursday at noon ET.
