Jermaine Dupri Wants to See Offset and Quavo Reunite for ATL

Jermaine Dupri is calling for healing between Offset and Quavo, hoping the two former Migos stars can put their differences aside and come back stronger together.

During a recent sit-down on the BagFuel podcast, the So So Def legend opened up about the ripple effect the Migos breakup had on Atlanta’s hip hop scene. “That hurt a lot of the city, period,” Dupri said. “The Migos breaking up was a bad situation for Atlanta because they was moving and I think they’re better together anyway, me personally.”

Get this, Dupri didn’t stop there. He reflected on the deep emotional toll left by the loss of Takeoff, who was tragically killed in late 2022. “It was really crazy for us. I ain’t think Atlanta nias was gonna die,” Dupri said. “An Atlanta rapper dying felt like ‘Aw damn, what the fk is going on?’ It felt crazy to me.”

What’s more, just weeks before Takeoff’s passing, he and Quavo had released their duo album Only Built For Infinity Links, marking the last official Migos project. While Quavo and Offset did reunite for a surprise moment at the 2023 BET Awards, the two haven’t returned to the bond they once shared.

Their last public appearance together came during a gathering to honor Takeoff on what would have been his 31st birthday. For Dupri and many in Atlanta, the hope is still alive that these two can find their way back to each other—not just for music, but for what they represent as brothers in the game.
