Clipse Scores No. 1 on Independent Albums Chart With First Release in 16 Years

Clipse has landed their first No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart with LET GOD SORT EM OUT, the duo’s long-awaited return and first full-length release in 16 years. The album, released through Roc Nation Distribution, also reached No. 1 on the Vinyl Albums chart, No. 2 on Top Rap Albums, and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

Selling 118,000 equivalent album units in its opening week, the project marks Clipse’s most successful debut since their 2002 breakthrough Lord Willin’. The achievement highlights the duo’s move to full independence, owning their masters while maintaining complete creative control.

Roc Nation Distribution President Krystian Santini praised the duo’s authenticity and self-belief, calling the debut “a testament to Clipse’s unwavering commitment to authenticity.” Manager Steven Victor added, “This No. 1 independent album is more than a chart position – it’s a victory for pure artistry and fearless independence.”

Executive produced by Pharrell Williams, the album features guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Tyler the Creator, John Legend, The-Dream, and more.
