Keshia Knight Pulliam is remembering the late Malcolm-Jamal Warner who she affectionately refers to as her big brother.
Hitting Instagram, Pulliam, who starred as Rudy Huxtable the younger sister to Warner’s Theo Huxtable, wrote: “A week ago I lost my big brother, but I gained an angel…I love you… I miss you… We got our girls, ❤️”

According to ABC News, surfers noticed Warner and his daughter struggling in the current and attempted to rescue them. One surfer was able to pull Warner’s daughter on a surfboard for safety, while a volunteer lifeguard attempted to assist Warner and another surfer, who tried to help out.
Warner received 45 minutes of CPR but was unable to survive. Everyone else in the incident made a recovery.
