Dee Mula Talks His Trending Hit “Blow My High”

Memphis rapper Dee Mula is making waves with his breakout single “Blow My High,” a track that’s been trending across platforms and drawing comparisons to the early Chief Keef era. The song has captured attention for its raw energy and throwback street sound, fueling growing interest in Mula’s music.

“Blow My High” recently peaked at No. 3 on the Spotify Viral 50 USA chart and remains strong at No. 6. On TikTok, the track has over 90,000 video creations and reached as high as No. 11 on the TikTok Music Chart. In the past week alone, the song experienced a 103 percent spike in streams, now surpassing 3 million total plays.

Signed to N Less Entertainment, co-founded by former NBA star Zach Randolph and Marcus “Head” Howell, Dee Mula has earned co-signs from major artists like GloRilla, Yo Gotti, Lil Baby, and Moneybagg Yo. With momentum building, “Blow My High” could be Dee Mula’s defining moment.

Speaking with The Source, Dee Mula highlights the success of his “Blow My High” single.

The Source: “Blow My High” has clearly resonated with a massive audience – peaking on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart at number 44, as well as charting on the Spotify Viral 50 and generating over 200K video creations on TikTok. What do you think it is about this particular track that has led to such an explosive viral moment?

Dee Mula: The lyrics are extremely relatable and tell a story. I feel like every day, somebody wakes up and gets a phone call or a text that may disappoint or even feel like it’s an attempt to tear them down. I’m saying you can’t let these people get to you and ruin what you’ve got going on – whether that be your high or your motivation. The message still stands for people that don’t get high too – don’t “blow my drunk” either!

Your sound on “Blow My High” has been drawing comparisons to the nostalgic Chief Keef era. How do you feel about these comparisons and was that a deliberate influence you aimed for in your music?

It wasn’t deliberate, it just happened that way. The beat stuck out to me first and then I immediately started rapping. That’s when it hit me that it sounded like something Chief Keef would put out, which motivated me to go even harder because I felt like I was on the right track. I wasn’t trying to sound like him, it wasn’t what I was aiming for – but I’m glad it resonates with his fans. I just go with the flow.

You’re signed to N Less Entertainment. How has having a former professional athlete with such a strong connection to Memphis, like Zach, as part of your label influenced your career and creative process?

It feels great. I used to watch Z-Bo play basketball all the time, so it’s just added motivation for me to know that he’s got my back and is supporting me and my music. It makes you want to make your idols proud and continue to be even more successful. We’re just getting started.

You’ve received co-signs and support from major artists like GloRilla, Lil Baby, Yo Gotti, and Moneybagg Yo. How important is this kind of industry recognition and what has it meant to you personally and professionally?

I feel like it’s finally my time. I stayed down and I’ve been going so hard for so long. To hear that they mess with my music means everything. Their recognition is coming at the perfect time, and I don’t question God’s timing. It’s only up from here.

With “Blow My High” experiencing a 92% streaming spike and accumulating millions of streams, what are your next steps? Can fans expect new music, a project, or perhaps a tour in the near future?

I got new music coming out for sure, so fans should be on the lookout for that. Tours and all that are in the works as well as new merch. All that is on the way and I’m excited for them to hear and see the new progress in my career as we take it to the next level.
