Fresh off her hometown debut at Lollapalooza, rising R&B star Ravyn Lenae hosted a celebratory “D’USSÉ Friday” event at RPM Steakhouse Chicago on Friday night. Joined by fellow Chicago native Vic Mensa, Orion Sun, Yoonie, Elizabeth De La Piedra, and others, Lenae toasted to a year filled with milestones and momentum.
The event followed the announcement of her new partnership with D’USSÉ, part of the cognac brand’s revived D’USSÉ Friday campaign. Originally a Roc Nation tradition, the campaign encourages celebrating weekly wins with community and style.
This year, Lenae has much to toast to. She earned her first Billboard Hot 100 hit with the viral single “Love Me Not,” joined Sabrina Carpenter on tour, collaborated with Donald Glover, and announced her own fall tour. With her soulful voice and genre-blurring sound, Lenae is quickly emerging as one of R&B’s most promising new voices.
