Tamar Braxton revealed she suffered a life-threatening accident on Sunday, August 17, leaving her with serious injuries and emotional trauma.
The “Let Me Know” singer took to Instagram Stories to share the harrowing details, writing, “I almost died Sunday. I was found in a pool of blood from my friend with a face injury.”
Braxton explained that the extent of her injuries includes a fractured nose, lost teeth, and a loss of mobility. “As the days go by the worse it is,” she wrote. “I fractured my nose, lost some teeth and mobility. The way I look at life now is totally different.”
The singer also shared that the incident has left her unable to speak properly and emotionally overwhelmed. “I struggled to write this but everyone keeps calling me and honestly, I can’t even really talk anymore I’m so weak,” she said.
While the circumstances around the accident remain unclear, Braxton expressed that the experience has changed her perspective. “As my health is on the mend my mental journey begins… pray for me for real. I don’t even know what happened to me.”
