Buffalo, NY’s own Demeca Evans, known to many as Ms. Vibe High, has built a platform that blends empowerment, artistry, and community impact. As a speaker, author, and coach, she spreads her signature message everywhere she goes: Know Yourself, Accept Yourself, and Be the Best Version of Yourself.
That message is anchored in her book The Vibe High Guide to Living a Happy and Successful Life, her coaching program Transition in Ten (a guide to recovery and re-entry), and her motivational speaking, which has taken her to stages like the Las Vegas Plaza Hotel for Andy Audate’s Progression Conference. All of it comes together under The Vibe High Experience; a brand that includes her book, merch line Vibe High Gear, speaking engagements, and nonprofit work through the TVHE Foundation Inc.
Music has been a key part of her journey. Ms. Vibe High got her start interviewing local artists on her online radio show, where she discovered how deeply their stories connected to her message of elevation. Over time, artists began turning to her not only for interviews but also for coaching as part of their own development. “Upcoming artists have a passion that goes beyond money — they just want to be heard, and I connect with that vibration,” she says.
Her influence in the music world has only grown. Ms. Vibe High is also the co-owner of one of Buffalo’s biggest cultural events, the 716 Music Awards, which celebrates and honors local talent. The event has recognized heavyweights like Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine, and the BSF label, while also shining a light on independent artists who fuel the city’s sound. The impact has been so significant that the awards received two city proclamations and one state proclamation — proof of the movement’s power.
With The Vibe High Experience expanding into multiple lanes, including a Roku debut on ARTV in September 2025, Ms. Vibe High is proving that her mission is bigger than music alone.
