KINGFAHD BRINGS THE PARTY TO VANCOUVER WITH NEW SINGLE “THAT PARTY JAM”

Vancouver’s Afrobeats scene has a new anthem, and its name is “That Party Jam.” Nigerian-born artist KingFahd, who moved to Vancouver in 2022, has quickly become one of the city’s most exciting voices. Known for his smooth vocal delivery, witty wordplay, and effortless fusion of English, Pidgin, and Yoruba, KingFahd has built a reputation for crafting music that feels both deeply personal and universally danceable.

His latest release flips the script. Traditionally known for mid-tempo grooves and soulful melodies, KingFahd takes a bold leap into the high-tempo, club-ready world with “That Party Jam.” The track is pure energy—designed for dance floors, late nights, and festival speakers. But what makes it truly special is how it celebrates Vancouver itself. Throughout the song, KingFahd pays homage to the city’s Afrobeats culture, giving kudos to entertainment hubs, influencers, and personalities who’ve helped shape his journey.

It’s a love letter disguised as a party starter. “I wanted to create something for the community that embraced me,” KingFahd explains. “This track is about connection, about celebrating the spaces and people that make Afrobeats thrive in Vancouver.”

This isn’t his first moment in the spotlight. His 2024 debut EP, One Step at a Time, garnered acclaim across the city, and his viral covers of Rema’s “Baby (Is It a Crime)” and Minz’s “Mo de ma” earned him recognition from major blogs both in Canada and Nigeria. With original releases like “A Love Story frm22” and “2 Seconds,” he’s shown he can balance vulnerability with swagger.

Now, with “That Party Jam,” KingFahd proves he can also set the club on fire. Vancouver’s Afrobeats scene just got its new soundtrack—and the party is only getting started.
