Jay-Z Reportedly Has New Music On The Way

JAY-Z Becomes First Black Male Artist to Have 10 Albums Go Double-Platinum

It looks like Jay-Z may be gearing up for a return to music. According to longtime collaborator and Roc-A-Fella alum Memphis Bleek, Hov has been back in the lab, hinting at new material that could mark his first release since 2017’s 4:44.

Speaking on Drink Champs, Bleek revealed a recent conversation with Jay in Las Vegas. “I just was with him in Vegas. He just came out on the show, like, yo, my n***a, they went stupid,” Bleek recalled. “I said, ‘Listen, I know you working. Save me a verse.’ He’s like, ‘Alright, I got you.’ So if it happens, it happens.”

While fans wait on confirmation, Jay has been making headlines in the courtroom. Earlier this year, the Roc Nation founder filed a defamation lawsuit against a woman who accused him and Diddy of sexual assault in a case that was later dismissed after discrepancies surfaced. Jay’s suit claims the false allegations damaged his reputation and business, citing losses that included a denied $55 million credit line, a $115 million loan rejection for Roc Nation, and sports and entertainment deals worth more than $20 million.

His attorney pushed back on attempts to dismiss the case, stating: “Total lie. He brought a false case, lost badly and was forced to dismiss quickly. End of story.”

Through it all, Jay continues to balance his business empire with the artistry that first made him a household name. If Memphis Bleek’s word is any indication, fans might finally get that long-awaited glimpse of Hov’s next chapter behind the mic.
