STARZ Announces Spence Moore and Charlie Mann as Leads in “Power: Origins”

STARZ has revealed Spence Moore and Charlie Mann as the co-leads for its upcoming prequel series “Power: Origins.” Moore, known for Creed III and “Brilliant Minds,” will play the younger version of James “Ghost” St. Patrick, while Mann (The Watchers, “Virdee”) will portray a young Tommy Egan. The roles were originally made famous by Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora in the flagship series Power.

The new series will explore the early lives of Ghost and Tommy as ambitious young hustlers in New York, tracing the roots of their rise in the criminal underworld. “Power: Origins” promises to capture a new era with fresh energy, blending action, ambition, and the brashness of youth. As previously announced, MeKai Curtis will reprise his role as Kanan Stark.

This marks the fourth spinoff in the hit franchise following Power Book II: Ghost, Power Book III: Raising Kanan, and Power Book IV: Force. Sascha Penn will serve as showrunner and executive producer, with Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Lionsgate Television also producing.

“Power: Origins” continues STARZ’s commitment to expanding the beloved Power Universe, which remains one of the network’s most successful franchises.
