
Today at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, undisputed Super Middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) and undefeated four-division superstar Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) came face to face at the final press conference before their historic bout. They were joined on stage by UFC President and CEO Dana White and His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, adding to the spectacle ahead of fight night.
The fighters’ staredown ignited cheers from the crowd, building anticipation for Saturday’s matchup, which will stream live globally on all Netflix plans at no additional cost on September 13 at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
Canelo spoke proudly of representing Mexico. “I’ve always been very proud to represent my people, my roots and my origins. Everybody knows how proud I am to be Mexican … Difficult moments mean great moments are coming, and great moments are coming for all of us.”
Looking ahead, he promised a performance for the ages. “My best performance. I’m going to put everything I have [into this fight], and you’re going to see all my elements there in the fight.”
