At the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, undefeated four-division superstar Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) and undisputed Super Middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) came face to face at the final press conference before their highly anticipated bout. UFC President and CEO Dana White and His Excellency Turki Alalshikh joined them on stage as fans erupted during the intense staredown.
The fight, set for Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Allegiant Stadium, will stream live globally on all Netflix plans at no additional cost beginning at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.
Crawford spoke at length about what was at stake. “Greatness means everything to me … because I’ve got something to do once again that no other fighter has ever done before, and that’s become [the] three-time undisputed champion [in the male division]. My girl Claressa [Shields] did it in the female division, but I was the first one to do it in the male division two times … and I’m going to be the first one to do it three times.”
Confident ahead of the challenge, he added, “The only thing he probably can beat me in is horseback riding … because I don’t ride horses. But anything else, he don’t come close.”
Crawford said he feels prepared for the moment. “This is what legends are made from. It’s taking chances and risks like we’re doing right now. It couldn’t happen at a better time. This is my time, and come Saturday I’m just going to show the world.”
