Chicago Fire FC today announced its full slate of Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, highlighted by a limited-edition capsule collection with Chicago streetwear brand Gente Fina and the Club’s annual Hispanic Heritage Night match, presented by Meridian Health Plan of Illinois, Inc. The match will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Soldier Field when the Fire host the Columbus Crew.
“Chicago Fire FC is proud to have one of the most diverse fan bases in Chicago,” said Dave Baldwin, President of Business Operations. “Through initiatives like Hispanic Heritage Night and partnerships like our collaboration with Gente Fina, we are excited to celebrate this community that brings so much energy and passion to our Club.”

The Gente Fina collection, designed by founder Emmanuel Cabrera, includes co-branded t-shirts, knitted polos, and varsity jackets that blend fútbol culture with Chicago streetwear. Limited quantities will be available at an exclusive launch event at the Endeavor Health Fire Pitch on Sept. 20 from 5 to 11 p.m. The party will feature a live viewing of the Fire’s match against Minnesota United FC at 7:30 p.m.
“It’s been both an honor and a dream come true working with the Fire,” said Cabrera. “This collection is more than a fashion drop, it is proof that amazing things can happen when you follow your passions.”
Hispanic Heritage Night festivities on Sept. 27 will include cultural activations, performances, a fanny pack giveaway for the first 5,000 fans, and a special pre-match ceremony with Chicago artist Sentrock. Meridian will also support community involvement through the Kicks for Kids program.
Tickets start at $29 and are available via Ticketmaster or 888-MLS-FIRE. The match will air on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and locally in English and Spanish.
