Foot Locker is heading back to the hardwood for the 2026 NBA All-Star weekend, marking its third consecutive year as a major partner with a massive multi-brand activation dubbed “Foot Locker Takeover.” Set in the heart of downtown Los Angeles at L.A. LIVE, the experience aims to bridge the gap between sneaker culture, community, and elite basketball.
The “Takeover” is designed as an immersive hub for fans, featuring dedicated zones for industry giants including Nike, Jordan Brand, adidas, PUMA, Converse, and Crocs.
High-Heat Drops and Exclusive Launches
Sneaker enthusiasts will have their eyes on a series of “high-heat” releases scheduled throughout the weekend. Notable drops include:
- Jordan Brand: Retro 4 “Lakeshow,” Retro 5 “Wolf Grey,” and Retro 6 “Infrared.”
- adidas: New exclusive colorways of the Anthony Edwards 2 and a highly anticipated mystery collaboration.
- PUMA: The exclusive MB.05 LO LA from LaMelo Ball’s signature line.
- Converse: The debut of the SHAI 001, the first signature silhouette for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
- Nike: Latest performance innovations and storytelling releases from their roster of signature athletes.
Athlete Appearances and Immersive Zones
The activation will be a revolving door for NBA superstardom. Fans can expect appearances from Jayson Tatum (representing New Era) and Lonzo Ball (representing Crocs), alongside top talent from Nike, Jordan, and adidas.

Each brand will offer a unique neighborhood experience:
- adidas “ANTLAND”: An area inspired by Anthony Edwards’ Atlanta roots.
- PUMA Hoops Drive-In: A cinema-themed space powered by the PUMA x Fast & Furious collection.
- Crocs Creator Studio: A hub for influencers and content creators featuring live product giveaways.
- New Era Design Lab & Cap Spa: Fans can customize headwear with designer Jae Tips or refresh their current collection at the specialized “Cap Spa.”
The Heart of the Game: ‘The Clinic’
A full-size basketball court will serve as the centerpiece of the Nike, Jordan, and Converse space. Known as “The Clinic,” this area will host daily skills and drills challenges, interactive LED court programming, and exclusive clinics led by NBA athletes.
Commitment to Community and Education
The “Foot Locker Takeover” extends its reach to the 2026 NBA HBCU Classic between Hampton University and North Carolina A&T. For the third year running, Foot Locker is an associate partner of the event, with the Foot Locker Foundation donating $25,000 to each university to support student athletes.
