MTV caught up with Pharrell on the red carpet at The Oscars last night where the Super-producer spoke about how Jay-Z’s musical dedication to his newborn daughter came to fruition. Skateboard P, who was one of the music consultants for Hollywood’s biggest night of the year, said that the song was not a spur of the moment recording, but rather a premeditated idea similar to that of Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely.”
