Sacramento-based spitta Chuuwee brings some golden era rhymes on his latest leak, “The Crown Don’t Make You King.” The cut is off of his upcoming project, Crown Me King, a prequel to his debut LP, Wild Style which lands on May 29th via Amalgam Digital. The Audible Doctor production and DJ Next scratches are reminiscent of something out of Gang Starr’s catalog. Chuuwee is adamant about wiping weak raps off the map and on “The Crown Don’t Make You King” he proves that he’s ’bout that lyrical life. Look forward to the next chapter.
