On Monday October 13, Chanel hosted an exclusive dinner in celebration of N°5 The Film titled “The One That I Want,” written and directed by Baz Luhrmann which also starred Gisele Bündchen in New York.
Guests viewed The Film while enjoying food such as caviar, lamb, and petit fours and afterwards they were treated to a performance by Lo Fang which included his own cover of the song “You’re The One That I Want” from The Film. The Film follows a woman who is independent and makes her own decisions but at the same time is struggling to find space for everything such as family, love, and herself. What is unique about this Film is that there was no dialogue within the film but rather it was accompanied by Lo Fang’s cover of “You’re The One That I Want” which did more than wonders for delivering the message of The Film. The Film celebrated of Chanel’s most famous fragrance, N°5, which was the fragrance of choice for women who wanted to break free from reality and their personal desires.
