Angie Mar comes full circle, joins Jay’s team
Angie Martinez is among the all-time greats in Hip-Hop radio not just in New York City, but nationwide, and today she signed a management deal with her longtime friend’s management company. The friend? Jay Z. Roc Nation announced today via Twitter and Instagram posts that Angie, who was the source of much conversation when she made the switch from Hot 97 to Power 105.1 this past summer, has joined their team.

Roc Nation’s roster is becoming more and more impressive, from rappers on their label (Jay Electronica, J. Cole) to their management deals (Big Sean, Rihanna), to producers (DJ Mustard, Timbaland), to athletes (Kevin Durant, Dez Bryant).
It just became a tad bit more expensive to have Angie Martinez host your function, by the way.
