And it wasn’t part of a LHH script
Yung Berg and his girlfriend, Masika Tucker, are currently starring on this season of Love & Hip-Hop, but what happened last night wasn’t for the cameras or the director. It was a real life physical altercation that resulted in Yung Berg being placed behind bars. According to a TMZ report, following an incident that involved Berg’s credit card declining, he and his girlfriend stormed out of the venue they were partying in and proceeded to their hotel room, which is where Berg reportedly choked Tucker, threw her on the bed and dragged her out by her hair. He then continued the choking.
Berg was arrested shortly after and charged with “obstruction of breathing”. Tucker allegedly claimed that alcohol is to blame, and that her boyfriend is never like this.
Yung Berg experienced the height of his career in 2007 when his first two singles, “Sexy Lady,” and “The Business” both broke into the Billboard 100 Top 40, and his collaboration with Ray J, “Sexy, Can I,” became a national hit, topping off at #3 on the Billboard 100.
