Suicide Squad is the third release from DC Cinematic Universe. The film strays away from the traditional comic book theme. The focus is on the super villains as opposed to the super heroes. The notorious villains will complete an array of missions that will eventually lead to their deaths.
Will Smith plays the role of Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot who is a highly skilled mercenary and Batman’s foe. Common’s role has been kept under the wraps, however, there has been pictures of him on set that surfaced on Twitter. Check it out:
Looks like Common plays the role of The Tattooed Man aka Abel Tarrant, Green Lantern’s enemy. Guess we’ll have to wait to find out, and I guess it’s safe to say Common is officially a rapper turned actor.
Suicide Squad is set to release August 5, 2016.
