Ron Harper Says 90s Bulls Would Sweep Steph Curry & Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors are off to a fast start as they currently sit undefeated at 11-0. With Stephen Curry playing lights out, seemingly un-guardable, hitting buckets anywhere on the court and the Draymond Green led defense giving opposing teams a tough time, the comparisons to all-time great squads is inevitable.

The seasons stats aside, the fact that the Warriors are the reigning NBA champions and Curry is the league MVP, further adds credence to these debates. One person who is clearly not having any of it is former NBA star Ron Harper. Having won three NBA titles with the Chicago Bulls from 1996-1998, along with another 2 trophies with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2000 and 2001, Harper has a hefty championship pedigree.

After a fan on Twitter suggested that the Warriors would come close to the 95-96 Bulls’ longstanding record of 72-10, Harper retorted by saying that Curry the Warriors would have been swept by Michael Jordan and co. Later on, another fan cited that though he thinks the level of play in NBA has gotten “soft,” it would be a great “7 game series” between the two squads. Harper doubled down on his sentiments stating that it would only be 4 games.
