Kendrick Lamar has made quite a name for himself on the late show scene, absolutely demolishing performances on Stephen Colbert‘s Comedy Central show in December of 2014, and returning to getting back with Colbert during his first week as host of The Late Show last year for a medley of bangers from his chart-topping To Pimp A Butterfly album.
Tonight, Kendrick will take to Jimmy Fallon’s post, The Tonight Show, and will be backed by The Roots while performing what’s apparently new music.

Outside of the occasional loosie, Kendrick generally doesn’t put out music in the months directly following the release of an album, so will certainly be interesting. The Tonight Show airs tonight at 11:30 p.m.
