Drake Teases ‘VFT6’ Some More With Studio Photos

Rumors that Drake will release Views From the 6 this month began in September of last year, when he closed out his joint mixtape-album with Future, What A Time To Be Alive, with “30 For 30,” a song on which he raps “I guess you just be making moves on your own time/But just know it’ll be January in no time.” Should it not happen before the end of January, forums and Reddit threads have predicted–ad nauseum–that the release will still be impending, especially considering Drake’s native city of Toronto is hosting this year’s NBA All-Star festivities, during which Drake surprise-dropped his last project, the If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late mixtape-album.

Drake and 40 have done their share of feeding the frenzy, continually posting photos and selfies together in the studio, and 40 has gone as far as posting a picture of a computer folder labeled “Views.” Last night, Drake continued the foreshadowing, posting several pictures of himself and his managers, Future the Prince and Oliver El-Khatib, in the studio, presumably poring over the details concerning The Boy’s 4th LP. Will his “30 For 30” prophecy stand true? Will he drop during All-Star weekend for a second straight year? We’ll know very, very soon. His last studio album, Nothing Was The Same, was released in September of 2013.
