This past Sunday, Tom Brady and Peyton Manning met for the umpteenth time in the NFL playoffs, with the latter taking the victory during the AFC Championship game en route to Super Bowl 50. The game, which came down to the final seconds, resulted in the Denver Broncos defeating the New England Patriots 20-18. Brady, who is normally a cool customer under pressure, was constantly under attack during the game, being sacked four times, and forced to make hurried throws almost every time he dropped back.
Brady’s protection was so bad that the franchise immediately fired their offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo after spending two years at the role. Things got much more interesting, or weird, earlier today (January 26) when Monday Morning Quarterback’s Robert Klemko reported that a Broncos player attempted to violate Brady in a very egregious way.
I tried to lay on him a few times, the anonymous player said. I tried to rub my nuts on his face.
With that said, hopefully Cam Newton will have his antenna’s up in the upcoming Super Bowl because things might go left if he takes a hit.
