Sitting at 65-12, the 2015-2016 San Antonio Spurs have set the franchise record for wins in a season and sit behind only the Golden State Warriors who are on their own quest for history. With that said, as the team scored a victory over the Utah Jazz Tuesday night in a 88-86 thriller thanks to some last second heroics from Kawhi Leonard, the win has place future Hall of Famer Tim Duncan into the history books.
With the win, Duncan has become the third player in NBA history to win 1,000 games, joining the company of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Robert Parish.

Sirius XM’s Justin Termine provided gave some additional context to the accomplishment.
Magic, Bird, & Russell didn't even play in 1,000 games… Meanwhile, Tim Duncan has played in 1,000 WINS.
