Drake to Host and Be Musical Guest on ‘Saturday Night Live’ This Month

Drake has been famous as both a rapper and an actor in his lengthy career as an entertainer, and he’ll show off his array of talents during a May episode of Saturday Night Live.

Drake, who has played both host and musical guest one time before in his career, in January of 2014, roughly four months after he released his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same. Drake pulled off hilarious impersonations of Katt Williams, Alex Rodriguez and Lil Wayne during that show, and performed “Started From the Bottom” and “Trophies,” two of his most popular songs at the time.

This time around, Drake will be celebrating the success of his fourth album, Views, which is set to move over 1 million first-week units when the numbers are officially revealed at the top of next week. In addition, despite the fact that its music video hasn’t yet been released, “One Dance,” is now Drake’s third career #2 Billboard Hot 100 single, and could net him his first overall #1–his plan to achieve his first-career chart-topper with “Hotline Bling” was foiled in November  by Adele‘s record-breaking “Hello.”

Drake takes over SNL on May 14.
