Rumors of a sequel to G.O.OD. Music‘s Cruel Summer group album were rarely taken seriously in recent years, but Kanye West did away with the speculation earlier this week during his time on Real 92.3 LA’s morning show with Big Boy.
While he chatted up Los Angeles’ most famous radio personality, ‘Ye decided to liberate the first single from Cruel Winter, believed to be called “Champions” (Kanye refused to reveal the official title)–featuring Travi$ Scott, Desiigner, Quavo, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane. ‘Ye admitted that the song is probably not finished, but listeners had heard enough. Cruel Winter is real, and everyone instantly became excited for it.
