Looks like the Knicks may have found their man to back up newly acquired superstar point guard Derrick Rose.
The front office, managed by Phil Jackson, has decided to choose Brandon Jennings to bring even more excitement to the Garden. Yesterday [Monday, July 4] the Knicks and the Compton bred point guard agreed to a one year, $5 million dollar deal.
A six year veteran who was a NBA First Team All Rookie member, Jennings has the potential to be the perfect fit the Knicks were looking for in a backup point guard, as he possesses the ability to put on a dribbling clinic while give defenders buckets. After the deal was made, the former McDonald’s High School All American All Star game MVP took to Twitter to express how excited he is about the deal.

The flashy Compton guard is no stranger to the bright lights in the NYC basketball stage. A former Naismith National Male High School Player Of The Year, Jennings became a household name at the legendary Rucker Park for his unbelievable performance at the Under Armour Elite 24 high school all star game. Expect Brandon to have Spike Lee and other die hard Knicks fans be amazed with his assist finishing and play making ability that have made him a fan favorite among die hard hoop enthusiasts.
