Ace Hood has been coming with his Starvation mixtape series since 2012. Hood’s music embodies the heart of an ambitious being, something captured heavily with this series. He now gives us the fifth installment.
Starvation 5 features Rick Ross, Bruno Mali and Fabolous. Ace never filled the series with features. Instead, Ace relies on his flow, cadence and substance to carry the tape through. Equipped with a total of 18 tracks, we’re sure you’ll find some tunes you’ll enjoy.
Starvation 4 came to us in November of 2015. In between Hood’s releases, we find him growing more mentally, spiritually and physically. The work he puts in outside of his music, has a significant effect on the music he puts out; there’s a shift in focus each time.
The mood on the mixtape begins as a storm that is in the form of Ace Hood. Ace’s lyrical attack is one of a “Category 5” hurricane. Ace is not without his confidence, letting the flows go overtop of tracks produced by London On The Track, Scott Styles, Smash David and more.
