Kanye West’s original plan for Watch The Throne would have left fans with a completely different track list. On the latest episode of Jeff and Eric Rosenthal’s A Waste of Time podcast, former Grantland publisher David Cho reveals that Ye’ and Jay Z had a disagreement when it came to naming the track list. Yeezy wanted the n-word to be in the title of every track on the album. How did not.
According to Cho, Jay wanted “N*ggas in Paris” to be called “Ball So Hard,” but “Kanye was like ‘No, we’re going to put the n-word in every single title of this album, so everyone has to say it and confront it.’”
