Odell Beckham Jr. took to Instagram on Tuesday morning, from his hospital bed, to thank fans for their well-wishes and let them know that he may be down and out this season, but all is not lost.
“Thank u all for your prayers,” he wrote. “You better believe I’ll be back better than ever. God Speed.”
Beckham underwent the surgery to repair a broken fibula. He had only four injury-related absences in his four-year NFL career, the superstar wideout will miss the Giants’ final 11 games.
While laid up recovering in the hospital bed Tuesday, it turns out the Giants wide receiver had one of his close friends stop by for some moral support, and that being Drake.

It’s likely that his ankle will never be the same as it was. But he’s only 24 years old. His body can—and will—heal and bounce back from such a trauma. So long as he follows the direction of his doctors and puts in the necessary work in physical therapy, there’s no reason why he can’t return to his pre-injury form.
