Rapper Fat Joe had a little bit to say about Lil Uzi Vert during an interview with Ebro Darden on Beats 1.
Fat Joe feels as though many rappers today are stealing Lil Wayne’s style and flow. “You hear all these little kids now who doing hip-hop music, those is all Lil Wayne’s flows. Every last one.” Once Ebro brought up Lil Uzi Vert, Joe responded: “Lil Uzi is a bad version of Lil Wayne.”
Joe clarified that he likes Uzi’s songs, and even has a copy of the Philadelphia rapper’s debut studio album Luv Is Rage 2. “I have nothing but love for him” Joe added.
“[Wayne]’s a G.O.A.T.,” Joe continued. “Not only that, he was lyrically considered the best rapper on Earth for a couple of years. Lil Uzi Vert ain’t gonna get that.”
