In a gun violence-ridden summer within the Hip Hop community, another up and coming rapper by the name of Lil’ Nizzy was shot several times Monday morning.
Nizzy, whose real name is Nasir Talington, was shot five times around midnight while riding bikes with his cousin Hakim Bey, a 16-year-old who was also shot during the gunfire.
Nizzy was found by his sister about 12:30 am on Monday.

It is said that Talington has been paralyzed, but is in stable condition.
Police did not apprehend the perpetrator and do not have any leads.
The 20-Year-old Philly emcee is an affiliate of Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers team and recently released a project entitled The Chemist.
