[Watch] Tyler The Creator Teams Up With ASAP Rocky and Kali Uchis For “See You Again” Visual

Tyler The Creator is making good on his promise to promote one of his most underrated and creative albums to date, Flower Boy.

On Wednesday (Aug 8), Tyler released the long-awaited visual for “See You Again” featuring ASAP Rocky and Kali Uchis. The melodramatic visual, open with Rocky and Tyler boarded on a Navy crew ship with  Kali Uchis is also at sea on a nearby boat, before shifting gears showcasing the GOLF artist switches up the beat and spits his bar in a custom Golf LaFluer jumpsuit while flossing on a service aircraft landing strip.

The colorful video then shifts to Tyler wearing a ghost costume in the country while rapping the bars to his Frank Ocean collaboration, “Where This Flower Blooms”.

Back in July, Tyler The Creator took to Twitter to announce that he was finally releasing the behind the scenes moments for the creation of the stellar album and since then has been dropping lyrical visuals, but “See You Again” makes the first full video he has released for the album, but technical difficulties almost blocked the release from happening.

“so i uploaded it and, not sure what happened, give me a few to get a new file and re upload, sorry about this, honest mistake, sound is very important in this case. brb”

In addition to sharing the video, the “Flower Boy” artist also dropped the acoustic version that he and Kali Uchis recorded on set that features live vocals from the songstress and Tyler playing the piano.

Earlier in the month, Tyler The Creator graced the 2018 issue of GQ and he opened up about a number of topics including his favorite artists and some childhood traditions. But interestingly, he admitted that he has the desire of ending up on the mainstream radio one day.

“I’ve been trying to get on the radio,” he says. “I haven’t been super successful with that, but that time will come. If it’s not the next album, then it’s the three after that.”

Despite lacking radio play on the mainstream, Tyler continues to dominate streaming services and YouTube, while setting a precedence for visuals and cinematography; making him undeniably one of Hip-Hop’s most talented artists.  As his creativity continues to grow and evolve, it is certain that he will definitely go down in history as one of music’s most influential and iconic artists creatively.
