Although we’ll proudly be celebrating Women’s History Month for all of March, this week ends on a special occasion as March 8 officially marks International Women’s Day!
Forever 21 decided to ring in the festivities on a fashionable note with help from the inspirational non-profit organization Girls Inc., giving the ladies a capsule collection filled with themes of female empowerment and some of our favorite women in entertainment rocking it all.
Amongst the fiery females included in this campaign is Pharrell protégée BIA, who models some of the key pieces throughout the various lookbook shots. The Sisterhood of Hip Hop star is also joined by the likes of latin pop sensation Natti Natasha, Dreamville’s own Ari Lennox, Queens-bred singer/activist Dounia Tazi, American Idol‘s Gabby Barrett and other female musicians including Madds, Yumi, Kassi Ashton, Chloe Kohanski and Margie Ashcroft. All the ladies are rocking some fashionable digs from the set, including bathing suits, T-shirts, hoodies, tube tops and undergarments that come in all sizes for a variety of girls of different shapes and ages. Girl Power to the max!
