Recent headlines haven’t been too kind for once-popular actress Stacey Dash, and unfortunately the latest isn’t flattering at all in the least bit. TMZ now reports that Dash was arrested over the weekend on a domestic violence situation that went down in her Florida home, and sadly she now has a “celebrity mugshot” that’s far from the Hollywood glam she’s probably accustomed to.

Dash, known for her role in the classic ’90s teen movie Clueless, was hit with the charges in Pasco County after an alleged altercation with her husband, Jeffrey Marty, that was wild enough to leave marks on his body. Cops arrived at their home in the evening hours on Sunday (September 29) after responding to a domestic dispute between the married couple. TMZ was able to grab body cam video of the situation as well, which shows Dash being question by the arresting officer as he fires off with a round of questions. She confirms her Bronx origins, starring role in Clueless and the fact that she was taking a “break” from acting and was most recently a correspondent for FOX. Sources close to her tell TMZ that Dash was acting out of defense after Marty attempted to choke her. As of the last update, she’s currently being held on $500 USD bail and may be under a 24-hour “cooling-off” hold — it’s reportedly common for local authorities to handle these types of situations that way.
The couple has been married for a little over a year following a secluded wedding ceremony. This is Stacey’s fourth marriage, and may unfortunately be her next divorce.
