The new album’s artwork gives a prelude to an expected deep, critical look at society and beyond, with a tampered one-dollar bill setting the stage for a lot to be said from one of Michigan’s finest. The lead single “Black Savage” from this upcoming project was released back in mid-November late last year to both critical and commercial acclaim, giving fans a strong taste of what can be expected come next Friday for his eight studio album since he burst on the scene with his 2002 debut album “Rock City”.

The prolific Royce over the last 20+ years has continued to release great music across an impressive career starting with Eminem and Bad Meets Evil from the late 1990s to today, numerous classic solo albums, as a member of supergroup Slaughterhouse (along with Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and KXNG Crooked) and most recently in collaboration with DJ Premier of Gang Starr on the PRhyme release series. Still touring extensively nationally and internationally, the release of this new album The Allegory promises to be what his core fans have been waiting for as well as continuing to open himself up to potential new audiences too.
