The celebration of life for Kobe and Gianna Bryant on Monday was opened by a performance of “XO” and “Halo” by Beyoncé.
“I’m here because I love Kobe, and this was one of his favorite songs,” Beyoncé shared.
Shortly after Beyoncé performed, Vanessa Bryant addressed the capacity crowd in Staples Center and was followed by more speakers including Shaquille O’Neal and Michael Jordan.
