Over the last couple of years college football has had many critics on the format of their postseason. On Tuesday the NCAA approved a four team playoff which will start in the 2014-2015 season. While this may be a step forward to improve the postseason structure, many people are skeptic on whether the format will work. One argument is that if there is a small difference between the 4th and 5th teams, then that will start a ruckus for a larger playoff format. The format is in place for twelve years but critics argue that this is not a long term solution. How this format will work is still up in the air.
