Louisville, KY’s Pone Pacino Setting The Streets Ablaze

“Better 2 Be Late Than Dead” is more than just an album title in the works, it’s literally a way of life for Pone Pacino. The underground Louisville native has been on the music scene since the early 2000’s, but run ins with law and drug addiction played a part in his stunted growth. However, the street savy “BARbarian” isn’t letting anything keep him from chasing his destiny and has put in the foot work to prove it. This year he’s worked with legendary artist such as Young Zee of the “Outsidaz”, Detroit’s Marv Won as well as a track featuring “D-12’s” Swifty McVay & Guilty Simpson just to name a few. Not to mention he’s been staying busy doing live shows, networking and making sure every move is calculated to solidify his spot in the rap game. He said, “Even if you don’t like with my music, you can’t deny my grind. What separates me from the rest is that I’m a risk taker, I’m not afraid to bet the house on it if it means there’s an opportunity to level up.” With that being said his efforts are not going unnoticed as his buzz continues to grow. This is a true underdog story of wins, losses, setbacks & get backs, but most importantly he wants it to be known that it’s never too late to pick yourself up and be who you’re destined to be.
