Dividend Music Group delivered their newest release with Not Nice featuring Baer. Baer is a versatile MC born in Taiwan. Baer brings effortless creative and proficient lyrical ability in her unique combination of rap flows and sing-song rap fluidity with her pure, polished and commandingly intimate voice. Not Nice is highly reminiscent of work from Baer’s own “Made in Taiwan” 2020 project but the production overhaul makes this feel like Baer’s true introduction to the Rap world.
“Lyrically, Baer is up there with the elites of the industry. It’s her authenticity that puts her in a class of her own, though. Go get the song. You’ll see.” Keefe posted to Instagram.

At the core of “Not Nice” the elegance of simplicity reigns supreme as she delivers a stand-out performance over the DMG produced track. The female emcee confidently
boasts about her shrewd ways in business while flexing her originality with some hefty blows like “Swerving my Kawaii little Prius, Fuck a Lambo”.
Not Nice’s Executive Producer, Keefe is at the helm of emerging full-service sports & entertainment company, Dividend Management. He is one of the fastest rising executives in the industry. He employs his understanding of the competitive musical world, as well as his methods and tactics, to guarantee that his artists stand out in the industry.
Keefe sat down with The Source to talk about Dividend’s latest release, being in the music business, insights to approaching business and more.
The Source: When did you decide you wanted to be apart of the Music Industry?
Keefe: Being in the music business has always been in the cards for me. As a kid I used to work the computer and engineer for my cousin, as I got older I started working with artists in Chicago as a manager and providing direction. Lately investing into music has been a focal point for me.
The Source: Can you roughly outline your creative process – from the beginning of an idea for a project or a collaboration to the point of completion?
Keefe: Since I don’t actually record music myself it’s always a collaboration. I only work on music when I’m inspired wether it be on a strictly business side or I am actually providing creative direction. So I keep it simple: I see the vision then I go out and do what needs to be done to actually bring it to reality.
The Source: What are some of the biggest challenges and difficulties you face when starting new projects?
Keefe: The biggest challenge for me when starting new projects is working with people who want it as bad as I do because I’m relentless when I get to work. I won’t stop until it’s right. On Not Nice, there was a specific 10 second part of the production that we went over probably 200 times in two nights.
The Source: What do you do to stay calm when a project is not going as planned?
Keefe: I always understand that it’s going to come out the way I need it to. That’s non- negotiable.. No need to panic.
The Source: Do you have any insights, tips, or advice for someone starting looking to start their music career and looking to get into the music industry?
Keefe: Stand on your creative vision. Things can always be better than expected, but never short yourself just to get it done. You have to stick to your values and be true to you. When you get outside of that is when you run into trouble.
The Source: What is your favorite project you’ve worked on to date?
Keefe: My favorite project is always the one that I’m currently working on so right now Not Nice is that (laughs).
