Chef Sean, an award-winning hip-hop artist, has released his first solo album, “My Life,” today. The highly anticipated album includes the artist’s newest single, “Flex Off,” which is preceded by the smash hit “Oh My God,” as well as 18 additional tunes that highlight his diverse talents.
Chef Sean shows off his characteristic innovation in this debut album, mixing numerous production and music styles to keep his listeners on the edge of their seats. The rapper enlisted the help of ASCAP award winner Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones for this project. Mary J. Blige, Ice Cube, and Jack Harlow have all collaborated with Benihana’s producer. Chef Sean’s “Shake,” “Walk,” and “Groomed Different,” all featured on the new album, were composed by him.
Songs like “Runaway” have a Caribbean beat similar to Wizkid’s. “Good Dope” features the hard-hitting sound of Chicago’s South Side, as well as the up-and-coming artist OkDeazy, who is currently tearing up the underground streets.
Fans will also know “Oh My God,” an instant hit that has been played by top SIRIUSXM DJs on repeat. Shade 105’s “L.A. Leakers” with Justin Credible, The Heat’s “Mina’s House” with Minasaywhat, and the Music Choice channel all include the pulsing tune.
Atlanta rapper OG Maco is featured, best known for his breakout track “U Guessed It,” which charted on Billboard’s “Hot 100.” Fans of rapper Blake Kelly, who is best known for his duets with Justin Bieber, can expect more of the same hard-hitting bars. The Ukrainian producer Luvre provides two songs on this album: “Accomplished” and “You.”
“My Life,” the multi-talented artist’s latest album, is now available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and all other major streaming platforms. Follow @TheRealChefSean on Instagram to learn more about Chef Sean.
