Missy diddy got the 2022 BET Awards weekend kicked off with her event A Toast to Black Hollywood. The event took place at the London Hotel in West Hollywood and celebrated those who are impacting Black culture.
Miss Diddy’s A Toast to Black Hollywood originated as A Toast to Young Hollywood in 2014. The event returned after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Years ago …it really started for me to really give an ode to the people that were moving the culture forward,” Miss Diddy said to xoNecole. “So the executives, the people behind the scenes, the people who had a big effect on my career as well.”
