Breaking into the music industry as a DJ is not easy. Many factors contribute to someone’s success in their field, but there are also plenty of people who work hard and still don’t make it. Alex Parenteau, aka APAR, is a successful music producer who made it to the top through sheer persistence and hard work. APAR’s impressive resume includes playing at prestigious venues across the US and internationally in countries like Malaysia and Ecuador. Some of his notable achievements include performing at the Electric Daisy Carnival 2018 and DJing in the Galapagos, Ecuador.
As a self-taught producer, APAR’s journey was not without challenges. Growing up with a love for music, he learned to produce his own tracks early by watching tutorials and practicing a lot. In his early days as a professional producer, he played various venues in Alabama and Denver, where he faced immense competition. Despite that, he held his own and branched out to new cities across the country. His genuineness and hard work have continued to pay off, and he’s now eyeing even more cities and venues.
In the future, APAR hopes to travel across the world to bigger and better venues. Some of the places he hopes to play include the Omnia in Las Vegas, Amnesia in Ibiza, as well as private events in nearly every corner of the earth.
