It’s all over

One of the most grueling seasons if not the most grueling season ever in Los Angeles Lakers’ history is finally over. The San Antonio Spurs have completed the series sweep tonight with a win that was reminiscent of games 1,2, and 3, it was a blowout. The Spurs defeated the Lakers 103-82.

This game just wasn’t even close start to finish, the Lakers took the floor tonight without Steve Blake, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Jodie Meeks, and Metta World Peace. The game got even worse for the Lakers when Dwight Howard was ejected in the 3rd quarter after receiving his second technical foul for arguing with the ref.

Since the beginning of the year the ball just didn’t bounce LA’s way at all, whether it was a coaching change, off balance chemistry, or injuries the Lakers were never fully 100% and it showed.

Going in to the offseason what everyone will be asking is, what is the future of Dwight Howard? Only time will tell but let us know what you think about Dwight’s future.

The Spurs await the winner of Memphis Grizzlies and Los Angeles Clippers matchup in the second round of the playoffs.
