RIAA gold-selling rapper and Pivot Gang leader Saba teams up with GRAMMY® Award-winning producer No ID for their latest single, “Woes of the World,” released today. The track offers another glimpse into their highly anticipated collaborative album, From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID, set to drop soon via ARTium Recordings/Pivot Gang Records, LLC.
A mellow yet expressive offering, “Woes of the World” showcases Saba’s introspective lyricism layered over No ID’s sleek production. The song’s contemplative chorus, “It makes me emotional to know what I know,” highlights Saba’s reflective approach, complemented by clean, intricate beats that reinforce the duo’s artistic synergy.
This latest release follows previous singles “Back In Office,” “hue_man nature,” “head.rap,” and “How to Impress God,” each revealing different facets of the upcoming project. Initially conceived as a mixtape, the album evolved through months of revisions and a complete reimagining in 2023. Saba’s loss of his uncle, who introduced him to hip-hop, profoundly influenced his creative direction, pushing him to refine the project into a more profound and expansive work.
