Jalen Hurts is your Super Bowl MVP, leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a 40-22 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. After the win, Hurts was emotional, recalling the road to what he calls “the top of the mountain.”
“It’s, um,” Hurts said in postgame. “It’s been a very unprecedented journey. The journey, it’s always the beginning until it’s the end, and I think, it means a lot.”
During Sunday’s game, Hurts went 17 of 22 in passing, with 221 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. He also rushed for 72 yards and another touchdown. According to ESPN, Hurts was the first quarterback in a Super Bowl to lead his team in rushing yards.
